Meet Kodiak a striking 6-year-old red Husky! With his handsome looks, gentle treat-taking manners, and knowledge of cues like sit, down, and shake a paw, he's sure to win over Husky lovers. Like many Huskies, he's smart, active, and looking for a family that enjoys going out for daily adventures and keeping his busy mind engaged. He's searching for an adult-only home with experienced dog owners who understand the breed and can provide structure, consistency, and positive training. Due to his potential to resource guard some items and his reserved nature when meeting new people, he'll do best with adopters who are happy to take the time to build trust and support his ongoing training. He cannot live with cats or small animals, and any canine companions should be introduced in a neutral setting. A securely fenced yard, daily leash walks, enrichment feeding activities, and commitment to his grooming needs are all part of the package. In return, you'll gain a loyal, intelligent companion who's ready to form a strong bond with the right person and become a wonderful adventure buddy!
