What if Piper's next favourite place in the world was right beside you? What if her days were filled with slow morning strolls, afternoon naps in a sunny spot, and the simple comfort of knowing she had a home to call her own? We think she'd be pretty happy with that kind of life.Meet Piper, an 8-year-old sweetheart who recently found herself with us as a stray. We may not know much about her story before arriving here, but we do know one thing: this girl is awfully easy to fall in love with. She's already become a staff favourite, and we would really love to see her find someone who feels just as lucky to have her.Piper is a little bit of a quiet treasure. She has the sweetest eyes, the gentlest nature, and a calm presence that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. She's not the most energetic or outgoing girl, and that's perfectly okay. She enjoys a leisurely stroll, walks beautifully on leash, and once the outing is over, her idea of a perfect afternoon is settling down right at your feet. No big adventures required. Just being together is enough.We know that sometimes the older dogs get passed by while everyone is looking for puppies or the next big adventure. But there's something awfully special about a dog like Piper. She doesn't need you to keep up with her. She just wants to keep you company. She could be the little shadow following you from room to room, the warm presence beside you on a quiet evening, or the sweetest reason to look forward to coming home.Piper still has so many little moments left to share. We hope someone sees those moments when they look at her. We hope they see a companion, a best friend, and a whole lot of love wrapped up in one very sweet girl.Piper will need a home with someone comfortable with senior care.
