KoreaHighlights: Gentle, happyI’m one of 16 lucky dogs rescued after a Korean shelter closed down and we were at risk of euthanasia. Now I’m safe and looking for a loving forever home where I can continue learning and growing.I’m a sweet girl who can be a little shy at first. Gentle voices, patience, and tasty treats help me feel safe. It may take me a few days to fully warm up, but once I trust you, I’ll happily let you pick me up and give me belly rubs! I get along well with other dogs and, once I’m comfortable, I love playing with them. I currently live with another Jindo, and I would especially love a confident, social dog in my forever home who can be my friend and help me learn that the world is a safe place.I’m still nervous about walks and unfamiliar places. New sounds and sudden movements can startle me, but I’m young and already making wonderful progress. I’m also very food-motivated—just mention dinner and I might start drooling! I have moderate energy, enjoy outdoor activities, and love relaxing at home afterward. I rarely bark, have no resource-guarding issues or escape tendencies, and haven’t shown separation anxiety. When I’m scared, my favorite safe place is my crate.I’m currently 50% pee-pad and 50% outdoor housetrained. I’m calm in my crate during car rides, although I may need some encouragement to get out when we arrive somewhere unfamiliar.I’m looking for a patient family who will give me time, love, and confidence—and maybe a friendly dog to show me the ropes. With the right family, I know I’ll blossom into a wonderful companion.
