About

Meet Tiramisu! Breed: Jindo mixAge: 10 MonthsGender: Female Weight: 24 lb Height: 20 inches Highlight(s): Friendly, happyHi, I’m Tiramisu! I was born last February to a stray mama who was wandering the streets. Thankfully, my mom, my three siblings, and I were rescued together, and now I’m growing up in a loving foster home with a resident dog. I’m ready to find a forever family of my own!I’m a sweet girl who can be a little shy at first. Give me some gentle affection, patience, and tasty treats, and I’ll slowly come out of my shell. Once I feel safe and comfortable, I’ll happily show you my belly and let my affectionate side shine! I get along well with other dogs and am happy to share space with them, although I’m more of a peaceful companion than an enthusiastic playmate. If another dog bothers me, I usually prefer to walk away.I have moderate energy and enjoy outdoor adventures followed by relaxing at home. I’m still learning to navigate the big, busy world, though! Passing cars, big trucks, sudden movements, and strangers approaching unexpectedly can make me nervous. Quiet walks in peaceful neighborhoods help me feel much braver. I’m also uncomfortable around the sudden noises and movements of young children, so I’d do best in a calm home with older, dog-savvy kids or adults who understand my needs.I’m not yet fully housetrained (about 50% pee-pad and 50% outdoors), and I may whine when crated. I sometimes bark at strangers, but I have no resource-guarding issues, escape tendencies, or signs of separation anxiety. I also get excited when I see cats outdoors and may try to chase them, so a cat-free home would be best for me.I’m still learning to trust the world, and with a patient family by my side, I know I’ll continue to blossom. If you have a gentle heart and a little time to help me grow in confidence, I’d love to become your sweetest companion. get along with:Dogs: yesCats: noKids: noEngergy Level: Moderate, Enjoys outdoor activities and likes to rest/calm at home after walks. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.

Wanloo connects you with the shelter. You adopt directly with them.
