Hello! My name is Ammy. Here is some information about me:Breed: Jack Russel Terrier mixAge: 4-5 months old Gender: FemaleWeight: 5 lbsHeight: tbdOh, Hi There! I’m Ammy! Are you looking for a little bundle of puppy love to brighten your days? Well, hello! I’m Ammy, a darling 4–5-month-old Jack Russell Terrier girl, and I might just be the little friend you’ve been waiting for!My sisters and I didn’t have the easiest beginning. We were rescued in California after our mom was tragically killed. We were so little and needed someone to give us a chance. Luckily, a wonderful, compassionate rescue team came to our aid and helped us find safety. Now I’m ready to leave those sad beginnings behind and start dreaming about my forever family.I’m a sociable little pup who gets along with dogs, humans, and kitties! I’d love a family who will help me grow into a confident, happy girl, teach me all the important puppy things, and include me in life’s everyday adventures.Think of all the memories we could make together! We could go for walks, discover new places, play with toys, learn fun tricks, and enjoy cozy evenings at home. I’m still a baby, so I’ll need patience, guidance, and lots of positive encouragement as I learn how to be the very best companion. What I want most is a family who will love me through every stage of growing up and promise that I’ll always belong. And guess what? I can come to Vancouver, BC, on November 7, 2026, if my perfect family is ready to welcome me!Maybe my happily-ever-after begins with you. If you’re ready for puppy sweetness, new adventures, and a little girl to love, I’m waiting with my paws crossed!Could you be my forever person? All my love and puppy cuddles,Ammy I get along with:Dogs: yesCats: yesKids: unknownEnergy Level: tbdFears/Prey Drive: tbdTraining: tbd.Leash Skills: tbd.Housetrained: tbd. Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. You will NOT be charged the passenger fee in addition to this.[MID EAST DOGS] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.
