This 4-year-old spayed female Doberman mix is a sensitive, intelligent companion who will thrive in a calm, structured, and experienced home. She responds well to verbal cues such as âsitâ and âshake a paw,â and she takes treats gently, though she will not accept treats when she is in new situations. Due to her fearful nature, she is seeking a quiet, adult-only home with an experienced dog owner who understands the Doberman breed and is committed to providing consistent guidance, daily leash walks, and a predictable routine. A securely fenced backyard is required, and she is not a candidate for off-leash parks due to her flight risk and ongoing recall development; she will benefit from careful monitoring in new environments. Dog introductions must be done in a controlled setting, and she may be able to live with a calm, quiet canine companion or may prefer to be the only dog in the home. Ongoing support through a basic manners class and/or private behavior training confidence based is required, along with a structured food programâincluding hand feedingâto help build trust and strengthen her bond with her adopter.
