About

My name is NONI and here is a little info about me:Breed: Terrier MixAge: Approximately 1 year oldGender: FemaleWeight: Currently approximately 10.5 kg / 23.1 lbs; target weight approximately 11–12 kg / 24–26 lbsHighlight(s): Bright, cheerful, people-loving, good with dogs, good leash mannersI am a bright and cheerful young Terrier mix who loves people. I had a difficult start, but I am a happy, affectionate, puppy-like girl who opens my heart to people without hesitation. I was rescued from a shelter in Yeonggwang-gun, Jeolla-do, South Korea, just before I was scheduled to be euthanized. I was one of seven siblings who were born and raised at the shelter. Because I did not receive enough care while living at the shelter, I was a little underweight when I was rescued. My coat was also severely matted, almost like armor, so my rescuers had to cut the tangled hair with scissors. My natural longer Terrier coat has not fully grown back yet. I am now safe and being cared for properly. With good food, regular care, and time, my rescuers hope I will reach a healthy weight of about 11–12 kg. Now I am ready to find a loving family who will help me continue growing into the beautiful dog I am meant to be.I am bright, cheerful, friendly, social, and affectionate. I really like people and I do not hesitate to open up to them. I am comfortable with people approaching and touching me, and I enjoy human attention. After my spay surgery, I had my first bath and handled it very well. I also get along well with other dogs. I have a good personality and can be social with dog friends. Because I am still young and puppy-like, I will need continued care, structure, and basic training from my adopter. With proper guidance, regular routines, and love, I will continue to grow into a wonderful companion. My best home would be with a loving family who can give me affection, good nutrition, regular walks, and continued basic training. I am people-oriented and enjoy being with humans, so I would do well in a home where I can spend time with my family and be included in daily life. A home with another friendly dog may also be a good fit for me. I am still young and my body is still recovering from my shelter life, so I need a responsible adopter who will help me become healthy, confident, and well-mannered. Cats and children have not been fully tested yet, so calm and careful introductions would be needed.I accept human handling well, walk well on leash, and handled my first bath without any major issue. Since I am still young, please continue helping me with basic training, structure, and daily routines in my new home. I walk well on leash. Please continue helping me build a safe and consistent walking routine in my new environment. I am outdoor potty trained. Please help me learn the potty routine in my new home as I settle in.I had a veterinary check-up, and no known health issues were found. I tested negative for heartworm, Giardia, coronavirus, parvovirus, and distemper. I have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
