I was injured as a tiny puppy after a car accident, and sadly, my previous owner knew I was hurt but left me untreated for months. By the time I was rescued, I had multiple fractures in my pelvis and right hind leg that had healed improperly. I also developed a hernia because of the trauma.Thankfully, I was finally rescued and received the surgeries and care I desperately needed. Today, I may sometimes hold up my right back leg, but I can walk, run, and even zoom around the playground with a big happy smile! I’m a little shy when we first meet, but gentle people and tasty treats quickly win me over. Once I feel safe, I become much more affectionate and will happily let you pick me up and rub my belly.I’m good with other dogs and enjoy peacefully sharing my space with them, although I’m more of a people-loving guy than a doggy-playmate kind of guy. I have moderate energy, enjoy my walks and outdoor adventures, and love relaxing afterward.I’m about 90% housetrained, rarely bark, have no resource guarding or aggression issues, and haven’t shown separation anxiety.
