Meet Velma!Velma is a sweet 9-month-old female, spayed, Doberman/Hound mix who is just beginning to learn about the world around her!Velma came to us with very little understanding of what is expected of her. She is still learning the basics and will need continued guidance, patience, and consistency as she navigates this big, unfamiliar world.Velma will need socialization, ongoing training, and a patient, committed owner who understands that she has a lot to learn. She needs someone willing to invest the time and effort to help her build confidence, develop good manners, and learn how to be comfortable in different environments and situations.We are looking for an experienced dog owner who understands the commitment involved in helping a young dog like Velma reach her full potential. She will benefit from positive reinforcement, a consistent routine, and someone who is willing to celebrate every little milestone along the way.Are you an experienced adopter ready to give Velma the time, guidance, and commitment she needs to thrive?
