He is deaf, but that doesn’t slow him down or stop him from enjoying life—he just experiences the world a little differently.Barney is still learning his leash manners and will need continued guidance and consistency, but he truly shines once he’s inside. Indoors, he’s an absolute cuddle bug who loves settling in close to his people and soaking up affection.Because Barney is deaf, he’s looking for an experienced and patient adopter who understands that he may need extra time to adjust to a new home and routines. With calm leadership, positive reinforcement, and clear communication, Barney will thrive and build a strong bond with his person.He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion.
