About
Hello, I'm Hongcha. For as long as I can remember, I've been a mother. Now, for the very first time, I'm hoping to have a family that's just for me.Breed: Jindo/Spitz MixAge: 3 years Gender: FemaleWeight: 22.3 lbs (10.1 kg) Height: 15.7 inches (40 cm) Country of Origin: South KoreaHighlights: Gentle • Calm • Loving • Loyal • Sweet • ResilientI was still just a puppy when I was tied outside at a rural farm in South Korea. That chain became my whole world as I grew up.Not long afterward, I gave birth to my very first litter, including my daughter Rabbit (Also posted in LALDR). http://youtu.be/lV3JL3QjEcI http://youtu.be/AKuRJTZylWk Raising my puppies while living outdoors wasn't easy, but they were my whole world.Everything changed when we were finally rescued. We thought our difficult days were over, but soon after my rescue, my caregivers discovered that I was pregnant again. This past February, I gave birth to five beautiful puppies in safety and warmth for the very first time in my life.Watching all of my puppies grow stronger has been the greatest gift. One by one, they are now beginning their own journeys to loving families. Now it's finally my turn.I've spent my whole life caring for my puppies. I never had the chance to simply be someone's beloved dog. That's the dream I'm holding onto now.I'm a gentle, calm, and incredibly sweet girl. https://youtube.com/watch?v=48Yj3D1xygw Despite everything I've experienced, I've never lost my kind heart. I love being close to people, enjoy gentle affection, and quietly follow my caregivers because I simply like being near them. https://youtube.com/watch?v=mv-zQuTOZdUI have wonderful social skills with other dogs and would do just fine if I had a canine sibling. But after spending my entire life surrounded by puppies and caring for others, I think I'm finally ready to be someone's special girl. Whether I'm your one and only or share my home with another friendly dog, what matters most to me is simply being loved.I've adjusted beautifully to indoor life. I enjoy relaxing in a cozy bed, have learned household routines quickly, and walk nicely on leash while happily exploring the world with my nose.Like many rescue dogs, I may need a little time to settle into a new home. But once I know I'm safe, my gentle and loyal personality shines through.I've spent my whole life raising families. Now, I'm hoping to become part of one.If you're looking for a quiet, loving companion with a gentle soul and a heart full of gratitude, I would be honored to spend the rest of my life by your side.Energy Level: ModerateI get along with:Dogs: Yes! Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if the dog is shown to be good with children we will approve homes with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.
