Wanloo Adoption Annex (Plain-Language Template, Pending Legal Review)

This annex applies when you use Wanloo's adoption relay to contact a shelter or rescue organization about an available pet.

Wanloo's role. Wanloo is a mediated messaging relay between you and the shelter or rescue. Wanloo is not the shelter or rescue; adoption decisions and outcomes are between you and the organization. Wanloo makes no guarantee about any animal's health, temperament, history, or availability.

No adoption contract with Wanloo. Any adoption agreement, fee, or condition is set by the shelter or rescue, not by Wanloo. Wanloo does not charge an adoption fee and is not a party to the adoption agreement.

Accuracy of listings. Listing information comes from the shelter or rescue or from third-party directories; Wanloo relays it in good faith but cannot guarantee its accuracy or that the animal remains available.

Your responsibility. Once you adopt, you are solely responsible for your pet's care, health, safety, and behaviour.
