FIR
Sobre
FIR was found on a local property living in an TNR colony and came into the Rescue with 15 other “Tree” kittens and he’s now searching for his forever home. He’s had his *first vaccine, Advantage flea and tick meds, a microchip and been deemed a healthy boy by the vet. Even though this little fella was found living outside he’s super affectionate and has a lovely disposition. He loves to be held and will happily sit with you while he just purrs up a storm. He has an adventurous side to him too and really enjoys exploring his surroundings. Nothing’s off limits so every nook and cranny gets a full inspection by him. He’ll run through the kitty tunnels and chase after his siblings. He also loves to run after the kitty toys he finds in his foster home especially the small balls that have a bell in them. If someone waves a wand full of festers in the end then he’ll play with them forever or until you give up. One of his favourite hang out spots is the cat tree and he’ll also curl up and cozily take a nap on it too. FIR has used the litter box since day one in foster care as he’s such a smart little guy. He loves to eat both kibble and wet food, have his water nice and cold plus he loves to have Temptations treats. He’s in a foster home with 2 medium sized dogs so he would suit a home with one as long as it’s cat savvy and as always, we recommend a slow, monitored introduction be made between them. He’s fostered with 2 other kittens who we believe are his siblings and they all chase each other around and will tumble and play together. He should do well with a cat in his new home as long as they’re willing to put up with his kitten antics. He can be an only cat as long as he’s not left alone for long periods of time. Children should be aged 6 plus and be gentle, loving and caring towards animals. If FIR sounds like he’ll be a good match for you and your family then please submit an adoption application to meet him. *He’ll have his booster, Rabies shot and neuter when he’s 4 months of age and it is included in his adoption fee. His adopter must be committed to bring him to the Clinic in Barrie for his surgery appointment. You can use your own vet’s clinic and this will be discussed with the potential adopter during the phone interview for him.
