I'm Bondok, which means "Hazelnut" in Arabic. I may have had a heartbreaking start in life, but today I'm a happy, loving boy who is ready to find the forever family I've always dreamed of.When I was just a puppy, I was hit by a car or truck. The impact left me with a broken pelvis, a severely broken back leg, and complete paralysis. I had to drag myself just to move.As if that wasn't enough, the accident threw me into thorny bushes, leaving painful thorns embedded throughout my body that caused serious infections. Later, I also developed scabies and blood parasites. I spent about a year and a half going through surgeries, treatments, rehabilitation, and endless care before I finally recovered.Today, I walk very well and enjoy life just like any other dog. The only lasting effect is that I can't stand up on my back legs to place my paws on people like many dogs do, and I have a permanently broken tail that hangs down. Neither of these causes me pain or stops me from living a happy, active life.I love playing with other dogs and being part of the pack. I get along wonderfully with cats inside the house as well. I'm also a little jealous—in the cutest way! I especially love friendly competition with my buddy Chocho, as I enjoy being the leader of the group.I'd love a family who will include me in their daily life and shower me with affection.
