I'm Snowball, and I’m waiting in Turkey in search of my very own forever family. At around 1 year old and just 8 kg, I'm a small, fluffy bundle of joy—but don't let my size fool you. I have enough love, personality and happiness to fill a whole home!My journey to safety and love wasn’t always easy, but now I'm looking forward to the exciting part: finding my forever family and starting the life I’ve been waiting for.My New LifeOnce I arrived in foster care, everyone quickly discovered what a friendly and social little guy I am!I currently live happily with multiple dogs and enjoy their company. I’m also great with cats—in fact, I’m so comfortable around them that I can even sleep side by side with them!I’m respectful of other animals and their space, but I also enjoy playing when my friends are in the mood. My easygoing and friendly nature makes me a wonderful candidate for a multi-pet home.A Little Bit About MeI’m a clever little guy who learns quickly and enjoys training. I’m curious, eager to learn new things and always ready to figure things out. I also have good leash skills and enjoy going for walks and exploring the world.I’m playful and always happy to join in on the fun, but I’m just as happy relaxing and spending time with my people.I’m also a gentle and polite boy with no known food guarding or similar issues. Just a pretty perfect combination of playful, affectionate, well-mannered, loyal and sweet-natured—that's me!I absolutely adore human companionship. I love being close to my people and being part of whatever is happening around me. My tail is always ready to wag, and I'm ready to share my life with a family of my own. What I'm Looking ForI’m a sweet little bundle of joy who would love to find a family to share my life with.Whether you already have dogs or cats, or you're simply looking for a friendly, affectionate and clever little companion, I may be the perfect addition to your home.If you're looking for a boy who is:Friendly and affectionateGreat with other dogsGood with catsClever and eager to learnPlayful but also happy to relaxGood on leashGentle and politeReady to be part of a family...then maybe you need a little Snowball in your life.I'm ready to come all the way from Turkey for my chance at a wonderful life. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 - $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs.[MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] Dogs from Turkey receive a 4D SNAP test to include Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis.

Wanloo connects you with the shelter. You adopt directly with them.
